NorCal Collie Rescue: Lost and found collies

Lost dogs that are recognizable pure bred dogs may well find their way to the attention of a local breed rescue. For that reason, NCR is happy to sponsor this bulletin board for "Lost Dog" notices for collies and collie lookalikes.

If you have lost a collie, our webmaster would be happy to put up pictures and other information to help identify your dog and return it to you.

If you have found a collie, you can check here to see if you have found a missing dog. NCR can provide a foster home if the person finding the collie cannot keep a dog overnight. NCR will keep found collies safe in our care until the owner can be located. For help with a collie you have found, contact your nearest area coordinator or NCR at:

Rusty - Lost Sheltie

My father-in-law's dog, Rusty, was frightened by a fire alarm on Sunday and has run away. He's a 5 year-old neutered tri-color Shetland sheepdog (looks like a 45lb. Lassie). We are very worried because he's quite skittish and not used to the country setting. Rusty is non-aggressive and current on his shots.

Please contact me if you've seen a dog like him in the Faust Rd./Hart Rd. area. Rusty is micro-chipped and we are offering a reward.
