Beatrice

Do you have children? This dog sparkles with children! – Beatrice is an 8 - 9 year old purebred black tri collie. She was found scared and abandoned by a rural road with her basset hound friend Stanley (no longer available) and taken to the Merced shelter. Muttville was able to step in and sponsored her for surgery (Completed!!!) to remove a bone chip that has been causing discomfort and a slight limp in her right rear leg. Other than the chip, her x-rays appear miraculously free of arthritis – she has the “hips of a young dog” as the vet said. Beatrice is loving, walks easily and quickly on a leash, has a soft and rare bark, and gives you the comfortable feeling of being with an old friend. She would love to go to a home where a family can enjoy snuggling her soft fur and receiving her gentle kisses. She is to be cherished!

Bea should be fine with other dogs...she is a little uncertain right now because she has been bounced around but once she gets the idea of who her pack is, she'll be a lady.  We had an 11 year old aussie stay with us over Christmas and they became great friends, sleeping together and leaning on eachother.  Now we have a 1.5 year old Golden temporarily and they are also fine together.

Kayla and Rocky

Kayla (purebred tricolor collie) and Rocky (lab-chow x) are about 10 years old.  Their owner has to move and cannot find a place that will allow dogs.  She wants to place both dogs together. She says: "They are the most loving animals to have around.  They do not chew, dig, or anything else that is destructive.  They have both been fixed years ago and have had all their shots." Rocky the mix has the personality of a lab and looks of a black chow.

Yukon

My name is Julie and I am a volunteer for HALO (Homeless Animal Lifeline Organization) and SFSR (San Francisco Samoyed Rescue).

I rescued a dog from the Shasta County Shelter and he is a collie-mix with (maybe) a little bit of Samoyed.

I want to find him a great home because he is one of the best fosters that I have ever had in the last ten years. Yukon is neutered, micro-chipped, current on Rabies, DA2PP, and Bordatella. He does have heartworm, however, and I am taking him in for treatment this week. I am covering all of his vet expenses. This is a very special dog and he should have the best!

If you are interested in Yukon, please contact Julie at PamperedPets4U@comcast.net
