Lost Collies

Lost dogs that are recognizable pure bred dogs may well find their way to the attention of a local breed rescue.  For that reason, NCR is happy to sponsor this bulletin board for "Lost Dog" notices for collies and collie look-a-likes.

If you have lost a collie, we would be happy to put up pictures and other information on our website to help identify your dog and return it to you.

If you have found a collie, you can check here to see if you have found a missing dog.  NCR can provide a foster home if the person finding the collie cannot keep a dog overnight.  NCR will keep found collies safe in our care until the owner can be located. For help with a collie you have found, contact your nearest NCR area coordinator
LOST DOG IN SAN GREGORIO, CA

MYRA IS AN 8 YEAR OLD ROUGH SABLE & WHITE COLLIE GIRL WHO RAN OFF ON HER OWNER’S PROPERTY IN SAN GREGORIO ON 5/6/25 AT 3PM. THIS IS A VERY RURAL AREA WITH HEAVY BRUSH.

She was wearing her collar with a NorCal Collie Rescue tag with our phone numbers, an apple air tag, and she is microchipped and registered. She is rather shy and will likely not come when called by a stranger.

Keep your “location services” on your iPhone on and contact us if you see her. The name of the tag is “backpack.” Last seen near Seaside School Road.

If you spot her, please call Hal at: 650-391-7207, or Andrea at: 408-891-2780
